    The Riftbreaker ist ein Basisbauen-Überlebensspiel, das auch einige Action-RPG-Elemente enthält. Spiele als Kapitän Ashley S. Nowak, die Riftbreaker, eine Elitewissenschaftler/Kommando, die einen mächtigen Mecha-Anzug trägt. Du hast ein Einweg-Portal zum entfernten Planeten Galatea 37 im Sycorax-Gürtel der Milchstraße genommen, um eine Basis zu errichten, die die Reise zwischen diesem Planeten und der Erde ermöglicht, damit die Expansion der Kolonisierung weiter voranschreiten kann.     Das Spiel verwendet eine Basis-Verteidigungssystemmechanik, bei der du den Aufbau deiner Verteidigung ausbalancieren musst, um großen Wellen von Feinden zu widerstehen, die immer größer werden, aber auch genügend Ressourcen verfügbar halten musst, um deinen Endziel, das Portal zu bauen, zu erreichen. Vernachlässige es nicht, Forschungsstationen zu schaffen, um neue Technologien zu nutzen und mehr Objekte zu bauen oder den Planeten zu erforschen, um mehr Ressourcen zu finden. Mit deinem Mecha-Anzug werdest du oft groß angelegte Schlachten finden, ähnlich wie Diablo-Schlachten, was dieses Spiel unglaublich interessant und unterhaltsam macht.
